Fish that are known as herbivores or omnivores will naturally graze on algae throughout their day on the reef. Note: Sometimes the residual salt on the plants will crystallize, forming white tufts on the plant surface that may look like mold. This is normal and harmless and does not indicate spoilage. It simply happens as the wild-harvested seaweed dries.
